7Edition Phantasia. Linkenheim, Germany. May 1986. 249 pages. "Nebel" (The Mist) by Stephen King. Signed Limited Edition. No. 109/500. A rare edition for the discerning collector, personally hand signed by the artist Herbert Brandmeier on the title page. Only 30 copies were signed by the artist. First World Edition. An unauthorized bootleg version. Issued with a dust jacket and grey velvet slipcase.

Shortly after publication, customs officials destroyed most copies for copyright infringement. It is believed that less than 50 copies exist today.

Condition: Very Fine. Free of markings, writings or stamps. A wonderful bright clean copy in slipcase the same. The binding is uniform and tight. No attached bookplates or indication of any removed.  The book is now protected with an archival quality removable clear Mylar cover. A very fine collectible without any visible wear.

About The Mist: The Mist is a horror novella by the American author Stephen King, in which the small town of Bridgton, Maine is suddenly enveloped in an unnatural mist that conceals otherworldly monsters.[1] It was first published as the first and longest story of the 1980 horror anthology Dark Forces. A slightly edited version was included in King's 1985 collection Skeleton Crew. The story is the longest entry in Skeleton Crew and occupies the first 134 pages. To coincide with the theatrical release of the film based on the novella, The Mist was republished as a stand-alone paperback book by Signet on October 2, 2007.

Nebel is the German word for fog and stellar nebula. It is related to the Latin nebula and to the Russian "(Nebo)" (sky, heaven)
