Marty Ketchum is the author that wrote the 1982 essay entitled "Stephen King: A Bibliography", along with Daniel J. H. Levack and Jeff Levin.

Parts one and two are string tied. Part three is perfect bound. Books one is Number 179 of 200. The book was designed by Michael Alpert and hand-sewn in Bangor, Maine at the Theodore Press. Book two is an un-numbered copy and was composed and printed by The Stinehour Press in Lunenburg, Vermont. Book three is Number 140 of 200 and was composed and printed by The Stinehour Press in Lunenburg, Vermont. Fine copies.

A one-of-a-kind association collectible. "The Plant" is a short novel that was originally offered online for download and then subsequently published as a series of 3 softcover books. The softcover books were never made available for sale to the public.

The Plant was published by Stephen King's own publishing company, The Philtrum Press.

This collection of softcover books was given by Stephen King as a Christmas gift to Marty Ketchum.

Each softcover book is a signed limited edition of 200. A beautiful collection in Fine condition, presented in a green matching leather bound tray case that was specifically custom made for this set. Included is a note card from Shirley, Stephen King's secretary at that time.

Part one has the following inscription:

"For Marty Ketchum, Here's an odd little something for your collection. Much good wishes - Many, Stephen King 5/18/83"

Part two has the following inscription:

"For Marty, You're on the comp. list for Eyes - and here's Plant #2. Carlos said hello! Stephen King 9/11/84"

Part three has the following inscription:

"For Marty Ketchum - Best wishes for a great 1986 from all the crazies at Zenith House - and, of course, all the crazies at mine - Stephen King 12/29/85"
